What is the cost?

We accept several insurance plans. Please see the payment, pricing, or insurance tabs for more information. We are unable to answer plan specific questions, so please call the number on the back of your insurance card with all questions regarding coverage.

If you decide not to use insurance, we will bill at an hourly rate. We collect out-of-pocket payments after each session.

How long are sessions?

All therapy sessions are 53 minutes.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We do! Ideally, you would cancel your session within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment. If you cancel in less than 24 hours, you will be billed a $75 cancelation fee (paid out of pocket, not covered by insurance). We understand life happens- implementation of the cancelation fee is up to the discretion of each individual therapist.

What is the best way to reach you?

The Counseling Collective is not a crisis center, so responses will likely not be immediate. If you are in an emergency and need immediate support, please call 911 or the emergency mental health hotline, 988.

Do I need to do any paperwork before we meet?

It would be a huge help if you were able to complete any intake information/ forms prior to your first session. The Counseling Collective uses an online client portal. Once you have a session set, we will ask you for some basic information to get you set up with a portal. In there, is where you will find all the required documentation!

Where is the office?

The Counseling Collective is located in Eagan, MN (see address below). When you arrive, please take a seat in the hallway. Around the corner there is coffee, water, and soda- help yourself!

I want to meet online, how does that work?

Meeting virtually is a great alternative to in-person sessions. Whether you live far away, have transportation issues, or just prefer this method, we do offer online sessions via a HIPPA compliant therapy portal. We will send you the link 24 hours prior to your appointment, via email.
