Kelsey Rehome-Peymann, MA, LPCC

Hi! I am Kelsey, owner and mental health therapist at The Counseling Collective!

My journey towards becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) has been a long, winding road. I have been honored to have a variety of professional experiences related to the mental health profession, with each experience teaching me new skills, showing me new challenges, and opening my eyes to new perspectives, capabilities, and philosophies.

As your therapist, I will strive to create a genuine, empowering, forgiving, and uplifting atmosphere where kindness, honesty, and authenticity are at the forefront of each session.

In practice, my goal is to help each client achieve their personal goals while showing insights into the empowering, resilient, and brilliant human being they are! I am grounded in Humanist theory which views everyone as the meaning makers in their own lives; you create and determine your own life path. My therapeutic interventions focus on the positive, amplifying your strengths, verses focusing on perceived weaknesses. I believe a therapist and client should work collaboratively to make meaning of the client’s life experiences, at the same time, creating your best reality and growing within that new perspective.
